O-I NZ is the sponsor of the NZ Glass Environmental Fund, which makes $25,000 available to schools annually. 

The Fund was established in 1983 to give students an opportunity to undertake environmental studies. 

These studies benefit the whole community and, in particular, give students an insight into the range of environmental issues facing our country and the world.

Due to O-I’s involvement, many innovative and exciting projects have been undertaken. 

Important information about applying to the Fund:

 We do NOT make grants for projects under $250.

 If your project is primarily focussed on fresh water, please apply to “Where There’s Water” on www.nzwwa.org.nz/wherethereswater.

For larger projects (over $10,000), it would be best to apply to the Ministry for the Environment for details on the Sustainable Management Fund – under community funding.

This form can be downloaded from this website.  The deadline for this is 31 March.  Remember to indicate which category of funding you wish to be considered for.
